Welcome to Bootblack Events—a dedicated digital calendar for all things bootblacking! We list bootblack stands at pride and kink events as well as workshops, title competitions and other bootblacking events in Europe.

Do you want to achieve more visibility for your stand at an event? Or are you looking for the next opportunity to get your gear loved on? Whether you’re a seasoned bootblack, an event organizer, or simply curious about the art of bootblacking, this calendar is your go-to resource for staying connected with the community.

It is made for and by the bootblack community and their friends. The calendar operates non-commercially and plans to do so in the future as well.

How does this calendar work?

You simply add your bootblack event to the calendar by clicking on 'add event', including tags, descriptions, pictures, your local time, and a location. After being crosschecked by our moderators, the event will be visible on the calendar. The calendar entries are entered by various users in the community, so errors or other issues may occur. We recommend checking the website of the respective event before attending. If you notice anything out of order, you can use the 'report event' function to notify the moderators. You can also import the calendar into your calendar app, and follow the event feed via Telegram.

What are bootblacks?

For many kinksters, their gear is a second skin, whether it's made of leather, rubber or neoprene. Bootblacks ensure that you can enjoy your treasures for as long as possible—squeaky clean and shiny. We consider what we do a service to the kink community. Bootblacks have been around in the U.S. leather scene since at least the 1970s. But the ancestor of all bootblacks is the British Hannah Cullwick, who was already passionately polishing boots in 1861. Bootblacking is an art in itself, it can be sexy, a bonding experience or simply relaxing. A session on the bootblack chair will make you shine - inside and out. Learn more about bootblacks

Never sat for a bootblack before?

We've got you covered! Here are some tips for your first time on the chair:

  • What gear can you bring? We take care of leather boots, but also sneakers and various gear made of leather, faux leather and rubber. If you are unsure, just ask. We welcome all kinksters, whether puppy, leatherfolk or rubber lover. Did you have a little accident while playing, and now your boots are covered in all kinds of fluids? Let us know in advance that we'd better wear gloves for the job.

  • Be respectful. We invest a lot of resources and passion into our skills—please be considerate and respect our boundaries. Not all bootblacks are submissive or interested in an erotic experience. You should negotiate this in advance, as with any other play session.

  • Let us spoil you! We are out and about at events because we love bootblacking. Enjoy your time in the chair while we make your gear shine. You will be well-prepared for your next adventure.

  • Always tip your bootblack. Every bootblack is happy to receive credit for a job well-done. It is an expression of respect and appreciation for our craft. Whether that's a piece of chocolate cake, a cheese platter, or something else entirely, is between the two of you.
