Bootblacking 101: skill, craft, service, seduction (workshop)

Pine is Bootblack Europe 2024, the inaugural UK Bootblack 2023 and London Bootblack of the Year 2022. He particularly enjoys the challenge of repairs and restorations, and being the fastest bootblack on the stand! He's committed to supporting and teaching aspiring bootblacks in his title year and creating bootblack community.

Parker (they/them) is an extremely skilled bootblack and leatherworker. They have been instrumental in the European and UK bootblack scenes, including as Tally Master for both UK Bootblack and Bootblack Europe competitions. Together with Pine, they run the monthly UK Bootblack Munch where novices learn the craft hands on and seasoned bootblacks finesse their expertise and deepen their sense of belonging. As a member of the UK KRueL Leather Family they are committed to carrying forth the Leather ethos 'each one - teach one' through facilitating workshops, immersive experiences and community events.

Together, Parker and Pine host the Bootblack Munch in the UK every month where new bootblacks can come to learn and improve their skills.
